Return & Exchange Policy

Returns accepted on RTW & MTO garments returned within 15 days of receipt of package and a refund will be issued when I have received the garment, less original shipping cost. Buyer is responsible for return shipping, unless the product received was the incorrect item or was damaged.

Unfortunately, due to the custom nature of bespoke/made-to-measure (MTM) garments, I am not able to accept returns.

Definitions

Ready-to-wear (RTW):
Garments pre-made in standard sizes. Full payment is required before shipment of garment.

Made-to-order (MTO):
Garments made in standard sizes upon request. A $50.00 place holder deposit is required before construction begins; payment of the balance is required before shipment of garment.

Bespoke/Made-to-measure (MTM):
Garments made to the measurements provided by client/taken by myself. Consultation required (in person or via video chat) with a $50.00 deposit. A materials deposit is required before construction begins; payment of the balance is required before shipment of the garment. Mock-ups and fittings advised for best fit (locally or remotely). Signing of a contract is required.

Expected Turn Around Time

Ready-to-wear:
Once payment is confirmed, orders will be shipped within 3 business days.

Made-to-order:
I aim to ship MTO garments within 1-2 weeks; however, this estimate may change due to volume of orders at the time of your purchase. Please wait for an email with an accurate estimate or email prior to your purchase.

Bespoke/Made-to-measure:
Due to the nature of bespoke, turn around can take anything from 1-6 weeks or more. If your garment is especially complex, it will take more time to complete. Additionally, fittings are suggested with any MTM garment, which is additional time.

I do my best to complete orders in a timely fashion, so please don't hesitate to ask questions about current turn around before placing an order.

Priority/Rush Orders:
***There is an additional fee and increased shipping charge for rushed orders.
I am happy to rush orders if they are needed by a certain date. In order for me to accommodate this best, I will need your address (so I may estimate shipping time), as well as the date for which the garment is needed. All rush orders will be shipped as priority/rush. Though I try to accommodate estimated shipping times in rush orders, I don't control the postal service or your country's import services, therefore, if I garment arrives late due to this, I am sorry, but it cannot be helped.

Though rush is not suggested for MTM garments (as fittings are suggested), I am happy to rush these orders as well; however, without fittings to ensure proper fit, I can only do my best to be as accurate as possible with the measurements/body photos given to me, but cannot 100% guarantee the most perfect fit, especially if this is a long distance order in which I do not have the opportunity to see your body in person.

Made-to-order & Made-to-measure Orders

Deposits:

Both made-to-order and made-to-measure require a deposit in order to begin production.

In the case of made-to-order garments, this deposit reserves the use of specified materials and your spot in the queue of current orders.

Made-to-measure garments require two deposits, the first deposit is a Consultation Deposit and it is to reserve your spot in the queue as well as to cover the initial consultation and any preliminary sketches and sourcing of materials. This deposit is not refundable whether the client chooses to continue with their custom order or not. In addition to the consultation deposit, made-to-measure garments will require a materials deposit (unless client is providing their own materials in entirety); this deposit is inteded to cover the cost of purchasing materials.

Deposits are taken off the final price of the garment purchased.

Payments:

Made-to-order orders require the payment of the balance before the product will be shipped to the client. Once payment is received, the product will be put into the post on the next business day.

Made-to-measure garments are often paid for in stages, with the final payment being required before shipment of the garment. A payment plan will be discussed and agreed upon with the client at time of consultaion. If the payment plan is not adhered to without communication, your order may be placed on hold until the next payment is made.

Contract:

Made-to-measure garments require the signing of a contract between client and VVA. This contract will outline the terms of payments as well as final design of the garment. This is a legally binding document for both VVA and the client. Signing of the contract will be done at the initial consultation if the client wishes to proceed. Final sketches will also require the client signing off on them before production begins.
